Summer 2024: An Internship Abroad

My dream at a young age was the travel the world. I thought I completed that with studying abroad in Denmark. But never would I thought that I would work abroad...an unexpected twist of my future.

My Journey as a System Engineer in Japan

Working as a system engineer in Japan has been an incredible journey filled with challenges and growth. When I first arrived, I had little to no knowledge of the Japanese language. However, within just 2.5 months, I immersed myself in learning, driven by the need to communicate effectively with my colleagues and clients.

One of the most significant lessons I learned was the power of persistence. Navigating visa issues proved to be daunting, but I realized that perseverance can lead to solutions, even when the path seems unclear.

Additionally, my experience highlighted the importance of standards and safety in engineering. As I prepared for my presentation to Toyota executives, I understood that adhering to safety regulations and industry standards is crucial for success in engineering roles.

Each step of this journey has taught me more about myself and my capabilities. I look forward to sharing more insights and experiences in future posts.
